Jerry and Helen Womack Scholarship for Entrepreneurs or Educators

Criteria for eligibility:

• Must be currently enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College.
• Must intend to pursue an associate degree.
• Must have a minimum high school GPA of 2.75.
• Must enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours for period of award.
• Must be a graduate of Azle High School within the immediate past six years.
• Preference given to applicants who pursue studies in the field of business or education.
• Preference given to applicants who are employed while attending school.
• This is a merit-based scholarship and determination of financial need is not required.

Criteria for renewal:

• This scholarship is awarded for up to four consecutive semesters if a minimum semester GPA of 3.0 is achieved and a minimum of 9 credit hours are completed each semester.
