Verna Mae McNeill Scholarship for Business Students

Criteria for eligibility:

  • Must be currently enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College.
  • Must intend to pursue a career in the field of business.
  • Must have a minimum TCC GPA of 2.75 (3.0 desirable) OR
  • Must have a high school equivalent or a passing GED score if a first-time TCC student.
  • Must enroll in a minimum of 9 credit hours for period of award.
  • Preference given to applicants who are single head of household with dependent children.
  • This is a merit-based scholarship and determination of financial need is not required.

Criteria for renewal:

  • Recipient will receive a spring scholarship if a minimum GPA of 3.0 is achieved in the business curriculum and a minimum of 9 credit hours are completed in the fall.
