Mike S. Leffingwell Memorial Scholarship

Criteria for eligibility:

• Must be currently enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College.
• Must intend to pursue studies in Psychology.
• Must attend the TCC Northeast Campus.
• Must have a minimum TCC GPA of 3.0 OR
• Must have a high school equivalent or a passing GED score if a first-time TCC student.
• Must enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours (or full-time enrollment as defined by the recipient’s program) for period of award.
• Preference given to applicants that meet federal or state guidelines for financial need.
• One $1,000 scholarship to be awarded ($500 per fall and spring semesters) annually, based on availability of funds

Criteria for renewal:

• Recipient will receive a spring scholarship if a minimum semester GPA of 3.0 is achieved and a minimum of 6 credit hours (or full-time enrollment as defined by the recipient’s program) is completed in the fall
