Tricolor Foundation Endowed Scholarship

The scholarship is open to all Tarrant County College students consistent with the College’s non-discrimination policies and applicable law; however, the scholarship serves to support Tarrant County College’s commitment to supporting first generation college students, low-income students, and underserved student populations and, accordingly, preference will be given to applicants who are representative of those important College priorities.

Additional criteria for eligibility:

  • Must be currently enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College.
  • Must intend to pursue an associate degree or certificate of completion.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Must enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours (or full-time enrollment as defined by the recipient’s program) for period of award.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Must answer a supplemental essay question (300 word maximum): “How has Hispanic culture impacted your life?”

Criteria for renewal:

  • Recipient will receive a spring scholarship if a minimum semester GPA of 3.0 is achieved and a minimum of 6 credit hours (or full-time enrollment as defined by the recipient’s program) is completed in the fall.
