MediServ Ltd. Scholarship

Criteria for eligibility:

• Must be currently enrolled at Tarrant County College.
• Must be admitted into the Associate of Applied Science in the Health Information Technology Program.
• Must be enrolled in the program’s final year of coursework for period of award.
• Must have a minimum TCC GPA of 3.0 in HITT courses, and a minimum TCC GPA in other coursework of 2.5.
• Must enroll in a minimum of 8 credit hours OR be in the program’s final semester for period of award.
• Must meet federal or state guidelines for financial need.

Criteria for renewal:

• Recipient will receive a spring scholarship if a minimum semester GPA of 3.0 in HITT courses is achieved, a minimum semester GPA of 2.5 is achieved in other coursework and a minimum of 8 credit hours are completed in the fall.
  **Note: available award funds not expended for tuition costs during the final semester may be applied to the cost of registration for the RHIT exam (after documentation of registration is provided).
