Teaching for Our Future Scholarships

Criteria for eligibility:

• Must be currently enrolled at Tarrant County College.
• Must intend to pursue an associate degree in math, science, or education, and transfer to a four-year institution, with an ultimate goal of attaining credentials to teach math or science.
• Must have a minimum TCC GPA of 3.0.
• Must enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours for period of award.
• Must have completed at least 30 credit hours of college coursework.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Must be available for a visit each semester with Teaching for Our Future.
• Must meet federal or state guidelines for financial need.
• Transfer scholarships may also be available from Teaching for our Future, upon degree completion at TCC.

Criteria for renewal:

• Recipient will receive a spring scholarship if a minimum semester GPA of 3.0 is achieved and a minimum of 9 credit hours are completed in the fall.
