Travel & Sports Legacy Foundation Scholarship

Criteria for eligibility:

• Must be currently enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College attending the Southeast Campus.
• Must be pursuing one of the following degree/certification plans: an AAS in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management; or a Level 1 Certificate of Completion; or Level 2 Certificate of Completion.
• Must have a minimum college GPA of 2.5 or high school equivalent.
• Must enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
• Recipients are encouraged to participate in a paid internship program (10 hours/week); this opportunity is established/coordinated by the Travel & Sports Legacy Foundation.
• Recipients are encouraged to participate in a mentoring program facilitated through the TSLF.
• Preference given to students graduating from Arlington ISD having participated in the Dan Dipert Career & Technical Center Culinary & Hospitality Program.
• Must meet federal guidelines for financial need.

Criteria for renewal:

• Recipients will receive a spring scholarship if a minimum semester GPA of 2.5 is achieved and a minimum of 6 credit hours is completed in the fall.
