The Shilling Family

The Shilling Family

This scholarship was established by the Shilling Family in honor of Margaret A. Shilling. She was a loving wife, mother and friend who gave selflessly to others. She placed her educational career goals on hold to raise her family, which she did with wholehearted devotion. After her three children completed their education, she returned to college to complete her degree in Dietetics. Graduating in 1995 at the age of 55, she was unable to pursue her career due to ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).

Impact

This scholarship assists students with the educational costs of pursuing a degree to achieve their educational dreams.
