Pranie Kologe

This endowed scholarship was created in loving memory of Henry P. Kologe by his wife of 63 years, Pranie Kologe. The first in his family to graduate from high school, Mr. Kologe managed to earn a college degree during the depression by attending night school while working days to help support his family. He worked for Sammons, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Revlon and finally for Alcon Laboratories in Fort Worth where he facilitated its merger with Nestle’s. Extremely well-read, he was keenly interested in a myriad of subjects, particularly world history. Mr. Kologe was profoundly curious his entire life and highly valued education.
