Mary Lynn O’Day Endowed Scholarship:
This scholarship was created by Nat O’Day in memory of his wife of 60 years, Mary Lynn O’Day. Lynn lived life with a generous and loving heart giving unselfishly of her time to numerous community organizations including her church – the City Point Methodist Church, the North Richland Hills Library Board, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the Van Cliburn International Piano competition, the All Church Home for Children, and the United Community Centers.

Alliene Mullendore Endowed Scholarship:
This scholarship was created by Nat O’Day and family in memory of his mother in-law, Alliene Mullendore. Alliene was a life-long educator, she spent many years working as a teacher within the Birdville Independent School District. Later in her career, she became a principal at W.T. Francisco Elementary, then North Richland Elementary, now known as Alliene Mullendor Elementary School. Alliene was also a proud mother and motivator, who raised two successful and compassionate daughters. Mary Lynn O’Day, a talented flag designer, substitute teacher and avid volunteer, and Kay Granger, the first Republican woman elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Texas.
