Mary Ruth Ellis
Established and endowed by Mary Ruth Ellis to honor her sister’s 101st birthday and her long teaching career, the Georgia Duncan Scholarship for Future Teachers benefits TCC students in the AA Teaching Degree Program at the Northeast Campus. Georgia taught physical education and always stressed the value of a good education. Georgia is the sister-in-law of NE Campus Professor Emeritus Dr. Norman Ellis who taught at the NE Campus for 20 years before passing away.
