Gayle Francis Dare to Dream Network Technology Scholarship: This scholarship was established by Gayle Francis, an instructor for the Computer Science and Information Technology Department at Tarrant County College. Gayle spent 30 years at Verizon, starting as a temp clerk typist and retiring as an executive director in the IT Department. Gayle dared to dream and began her studies at a community college. She was the first in her family to attend college and overcame many obstacles. This scholarship was created to help technology students dream big and make a better life for themselves.
