Family and Friends of LeJuana Lee Montford

LeJuana (Lee) Montford was a talented, high-energy young adult, who was pursuing her dreams to be a writer while working as an Information Center Specialist in the Student Center at TCC’s South Campus. Her infectious smile and zeal for life impacted the lives of students, co-workers and others who had the good fortune of crossing her path. She was a member of the Dallas-Fort Worth Association of Black Journalists in the 10th grade and participated in the Urban Journalism Workshop where she auditioned and was selected to anchor Fox 4 news. Upon her tragic death, family, friends and peers commemorated her life and service to Tarrant County College through this scholarship for students pursuing studies in either creative or journalistic writing.
