Family and Friends of Diane Turner

This scholarship has been established and funded by family members, friends and colleagues in memory of Diane Turner. Diane was a journalism instructor at TCC for 40 years and was dedicated to her students and their success. After serving 20 years as adviser for South Campus’ The Reflector (student newspaper) and The Carillon yearbook, she served another 20 years as adviser for The Collegian, TCC’s combined district student newspaper. Through those years, she spent extra hours developing students into professionals ready to move on to universities and to enter the journalism field. She helped students through personal and financial issues and always kept students and their needs first.
