Culhane Family and Friends

This scholarship has been established by family and friends in memory of retired Lt. David Culhane, a 38-year veteran of the Arlington Fire Department – #140. David’s devotion to his profession and his passion for teaching and mentoring other firefighters was well regarded by all who knew him and served with him. He led with integrity and compassion. There was a saying at the Arlington Fire Department, “If you were Culhane trained, you were trained by the best.” It is our desire to have David’s legacy, “Culhane Trained” continue through this scholarship to help students seeking to serve our community as a firefighter.
