This scholarship was established in loving memory of Hardy Sanders, co-founder of Bates Container, Ltd. which started in 1963. Bates Container, Ltd. was conceived with the notion that there was a market for innovation, quality, and the very best service along with an unwavering high level of integrity. Today, Bates Container, Ltd. is among the larger independent converters of corrugated packaging in the United States.
